Fran DeGrazio has been named vice president, Marketing and Strategic Business Development at West Pharmaceutical Services. In this new position, Ms. DeGrazio will be responsible for marketing and business development for the Americas Region of West. She will report to Don McMillan, President of West’s North American Pharmaceutical Systems Division.

Ms. DeGrazio has been with West for more than 22 years and she has made significant contributions within the company. She has effectively coordinated global activities during her career at West in Technical Customer Service, Elastomer Formula Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and in the Analytical Labs organization. Most recently, she served as vice president, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Americas. In this role, she was responsible for quality assurance and quality control for all of West’s rubber, metals and plastics manufacturing facilities in North and South America. Additionally, she was responsible for directing the Regulatory Affairs function for West, along with the management of West Monarch Analytical Laboratories. Ms. DeGrazio and her quality assurance team have improved the company’s service level and reputation with customers. She will continue to manage the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs groups until transition plans are finalized.
